Almost all living beings (plants included) can detect and respond to light.
So it makes sense that humans, with our big ol’ neocortex (that most recently developed part of the brain) would not only detect and respond to light, but also think about it. And not only do we think about it, we make machines that record it and other machines that can make all kinds of adjustments of what we’ve recorded.
Being a photographer; searching for, noticing, playing with and enjoying light is one of the most natural things in the world. It’s in our DNA.
Go natural.
