INTRODUCTION TO DARKTABLE
THE POWERFUL, OPEN SOURCE LIGHTROOM ALTERNATIVE

Come learn the basics of Darktable, the open source alternative to Lightroom for RAW processing and image enhancement.  You will be pleasantly surprised at how powerful Darktable is and its capabilities.  If you are serious about creating the best images you can this software is worth investigating.

Veteran Darktable user, Frank Walsh will be walking us through the functions to get us started.  This workshop will cover:

General File Management: Importing, Viewing and Ranking Images
Basic Adjustments: Cropping & rotating, Basic curve selection, Exposure, White balance, Contrast, Brightness and Saturation
Tone Adjustments: Shadows & highlights, Tonal curves and levels,
Color Adjustments: Vibrance, Color correction, B&W conversion
Using Masks for Localized Adjustments
Printing and Exporting
