Barns, Bridges and Buildings is a collaborative photography project between The Photographers Group and The Hunterdon County Chamber of Commerce.
One hundred sixty two (162) photographers have signed on to become the project team and offer their vision of the built environment in Hunterdon. During the months of June, July and August they will be exploring Hunterdon County and offering their vision of what they see. Here is the project team. PROJECT PHOTOGRAPHERS. See who you know.
Hunterdon has its own unique character that can be seen in not only its landscapes but also in its structures, including barns, bridges, churches, commercial buildings and other iconic locations.
All photos submitted will be included in an online gallery for the entire world to see and the files will be donated to the Hunterdon Historic Society to become part of its digital archives.
The images will be curated and the best photos will be published in the premier edition of the Chamber's new digital magazine, Hunterdon Living.
The photographer who produces the most outstanding work will be named the Top Project Photographer and will be profiled in the magazine along with their work on this project.
Outstanding photos by other photographers also will receive special recognition by having their photos featured in the magazine and put on display at the Hunterdon County Chamber of Commerce Headquarters and at the Unity Bank Center for Business & Entrepreneurship in Flemington as well as at other venues.
In addition to the online gallery, the historic archives, magazine publication and special recognitions, an eBook containing a selection the best photos of will also be published. This eBook will be provided to project photographers who submit photos free of charge and will be offered to the public at a nominal charge.
