SUMMER ON THE DELAWARE 2017

After the single weekend River Towns blitz photographers were given the entire summer to generate photos on, near or in sight of the Delaware River. Before the arrival of colonists the river was called Lenapewihittuk by the Lenape. (The Brits renamed it after some nobleman.)

It's a beautiful river offering both scenery and recreation. Photos could be taken anywhere from the headwaters in the Catskills down river to the Delaware Bay.

RIVERFEST POSTER

Project photographers captured a nice variety of photos reflecting the character and lure of the river. The photos were printed and exhibited during Frenchtown's annual 2017 Riverfest Celebration.
