The advanced flash photography workshop is for students who have one or more flash units and who want to learn how to master them.

Using flashes is a very “try it and see how it comes out” process. Even some of the leading photographers never really get what they are looking for on the first try. The more you try, the better you will become at determining how to get that look you envision.

This workshop will explain flash specifications, how to modified flash lighting to make it more appealing, off camera flash techniques as well as use of multiple flash units. If the weather is good we’ll also go outside to experiment with using flash under full sunlight conditions.

Students should bring their cameras and flashes.
