How easy is it to hang on to a photo (even a failed one) when you have infinite storage space? (Massively easy!)
If fact, “why delete any?” is an entirely reasonable response.
The next question is, “how easy is it to find old photos?” That depend on how old and how you stored them. Digital photo files in everyday use have been around for a good 15-20 years already. The first iPhone was released in 2007 and for many of us, camera phones accelerated our picture taking prowess (and photo file proliferation).
Going back and trying to clean up your digital archives, deleting all the useless shots is a guaranteed exercise in procrastination. What might be more fun and more productive is to do scavenger hunts, rooting through files selecting favorites to save. Copy the best photos forward and simply leave the rest to look through another day.
