The Hunterdon Retail Photo Project was a collaboration among the Photographers Group, the Red Mill Museum Village and the Hunterdon County retail business community.
Retail is changing rapidly as people more and more order online. The intent of this project was to to document local retail businesses and add the images to the Red Mill Museum's digital archives.
One hundred twenty photographers registered to participate and during the first three weeks of April, they fanned out across Hunterdon visiting and photographing the small, owner-operated retail businesses.
The show opened at then Red Mill in June and ran through July 2019.
Five photographers were recognized by the Red Mill for their outstanding images. Theri photos are shown below.
